I know you guys must be getting bored with my "vibration" posts but I am determined to find the root of this problem. Anyway for those just joining us. At highway speeds the steering wheel shakes in my hand and the entrie car is vibrating to the point that rattles are heard. This weekend I took advice from earlier posts and put the front end up on jack stands and shook everything I could get my hands on. Wheels, tie rods, steering shaft, etc. Absolutely no play, wiggle, slop what so ever. I also studied the tires tread by tread for any type of defect...none found. The brakes look new at least the pads are thick enough to be rather new, but I understand the rotors could still be warped...my arguement to that is that I feel nothing through the brake pedal not even when applying the brakes. When I was under the car I was looking at the tension rods and rack bushings I replaced and I am a still not sure but it may be even more likely I forget to get a front end alignment after installation of these new ES bushings. I think I might as well get an alignement to at the least rule this out. I was just wondeing if any of you think that faliure to do an alignment afterwards could produce these types of symptoms. Thanks for your help...
